In response to the guidance of the Overall Plan of Managing COVID-19 as a Class-B Infectious Disease issued by the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism and relevant supporting documents, border crossing measures at Zhuhai-Macao and Zhuhai-Hong Kong ports have been adjusted as follows:
(1) Starting from 0:00 on January 8, 2023, individuals who have not traveled abroad in the past 7 days will not need a negative PCR test result to enter Zhuhai from Macao; for those who have traveled overseas in the past 7 days, a 48-hour negative PCR test result will be required for leaving Macao for Zhuhai.
(3) Starting from 0:00 on January 8, 2023, the existing measure that requires exit/entry travelers to present their GHC “Clearance Pass” will remain unchanged, but the “Clearance Pass” will no longer be linked with their PCR test results.
(1) Starting from 0:00 on January 8, 2023, travelers (except cross-border schoolchildren) crossing Zhuhai-Hong Kong ports will need to present a negative result of a PCR test taken within 48 hours before departure.
(2) Travelers crossing Zhuhai-Hong Kong ports shall purchase their transportation tickets before heading for the ports; those who travel by driving cars shall apply online before departure.
